For best results, place the rain gauge in an open area to measure rainfall for your lawn or garden. For accurate measurements, do not place under trees or roofs that may have runoff.

For cold climates, remove rain gauge in freezing temps to prevent glass breakage.

Rain gauge stands approximately 40 to 43 inches tall and is 4 to 8 inches wide dependent upon antler used to create antler rain gauge.
